Hiro and I are planning a trip to Japan next year, but we’ve also been spending most of the last week in a much-needed relax-and-cuddle mode. This fits in nicely with my latest essay, out now on

My dad’s mother was Japanese and my dad and I always talked about how we wanted to visit Japan together. He died suddenly in 2016 and it’s one of my greatest regrets that we never took that trip together.
I hope that someday, when I have income again, I can take that trip for the both of us.
